| Description | Every day, more and more rescues and Humane Societies are closing their doors forever. Hundreds of thousands of adoptable pets are dying because there is nowhere for them to go and nobody to care for them. There has been an ongoing holocaust in the US for many decades with little or no regard for the underlying cause and little or no effort to get to the grass routes of the matter. That might mean that there may be fewer rescues needed in the near future and we are happy to say that. We have witnessed beloved pets dying because most Vets won't treat them until payment is made ahead of time. To us this is an abomination. Mikes Dog House is dedicated to building the 1st of it's kind "Rescue City" for animals. Rescue City USA is a place where there will be room for the needful and loving souls who would perish otherwise. It is a place where parents of cats, dogs and horses can come and be assured that their loved ones will get the medical attention they need....no matter what the cost or their ability to pay. This rescue city consists of 30 acres of lovingly designed rescue, health, spiritual and public places where families will enjoy exploring and experiencing the meaning and power of love in the world of animal rescue. It will be a place where people can educate themselves about the reasons the our animals are suffering and decide to play a part in ending that suffering through their own actions as they carry away a whole new enlightenment they had never experienced before. We, at Mikes Dog House believe that Love does conquer all. And Rescue City USA will go down in history as the first Super Rescue that Love Built and we hope to set a precedence for all animal rescue in the future. It's called "compassion." |
