| Description | S.H.O.C. has effectively been helping financially stressed families solve their financial problems since 1999. We provide Financial Management assistance to families struggling with financial burdens so they can become debt free without borrowing or filing for bankruptcy. To cope with the recent explosion in the number of homeowners who have become challenged by sliding home values, mortgages that have or will shortly adjust to higher payments, and tight credit, S.H.O.C has expanded our mission statement. Our Mission is twofold: First: To help 1 million homeowners across the country. The money that is donated will go to the homeowners to help: 1. Re-instate their loans with their lender. 2. Mortgage Payment Assistance. 3. Pay their back property taxes 4. Families move to they’re new location if that is their only option. Second: • To Free People from financial illiteracy by teaching them the basics of money and credit/debt management. • To Empower people to stay in their homes by giving them the appropriate information they need to successfully talk with their lenders, which ultimately allows them to have mortgage terms that secure their interests. |
